“Pure comfort and elegance, in our own backyard”

We weren’t sure what to expect, staying at a place we’ve never heard of in our own backyard.

Our first impression was that the Webster House is much more beautiful than the pictures on the web site. Too often the website looks too good to be true…and it is. In this case, our expectations were far exceeded.

We felt like we were transported to another place and time, instead of being just 30 minutes from home. With outstanding service by Christine and the pure comfort and elegance in our room.

We were warmly welcomed on the way in, shown to our room, and were left in complete privacy. We decided to stay in for dinner having Italian take-out from Nino’s and had our own private dining room at a table by the fireside downstairs. That experience alone was priceless.

We found the room both spacious and cozy. The bed was spectacular, with luxuriously soft sheets and a feather bed. The tub under the skylights was a beautiful experience, sitting in the warm tub, feeling the cool breezes from the dual skylights drift in above us.

The house is situated in a neighborhood next local churches, listening to the bells reminded us both of stays we’ve had in Europe.

The grounds were immaculate, with flowers all around the walkways.

This truly was one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had and we’ve purposely picked out some of the best B&B’s and Inns in Michigan.
